thebigview.com was established in October 1999 with the idea of rendering a bird’s eye perspective on various philosophical topics, hence, the name. The emphasis is on conciseness. Most people with Internet access are familiar with the problem of information overload. thebigview.com tries to present information succinctly, so that -hopefully- the gist of each topic is preserved, while not much else is said.
